At St Mark’s Anglican Church Pennant Hills we’re always striving to reflect the love that Jesus has for us and our community in the way that we treat one another and our neighbours in Pennant Hills, Thornleigh, Cherrybrook, Westleigh and beyond.

Each year we run Care Month to help foster caring connections within the St Mark’s family and our local community. In 2009 Care Month will include:

• Sun Aug 9 – Single service Sunday where the whole St Mark’s community gathers at one combined service. Bishop Glenn Davies will speak, there will be a children’s program available and a massive morning tea. For that Sunday only church will be at 9.30am

• Sat Aug 15th – Making the most of the rest of your life . A community seminar on staying healthy in retirement years with Professor Susan Kurrie (2pm at the St Mark’s building)

• Sat Aug 22 – What to say when people are hurting. A workshop with Jill McGilvray. From 2pm at the St Mark’s building.
